One advantage Rome had because of their geography is that being near a river it made trade easy. A second advantage is that their was fertile land near the river for farming. A third advantage is that the hills made defending Rome easier. One disadvantage is that since their are near a river it could flood. A second disadvantage is that since they are near a large body of water people could sail their and attack. A third disadvantage is that any floods could was away the crops.
